Myles' Story

Myles is genuinely the most loving, kind, and caring person. He treated everyone he met with the same amount of love, dignity, and respect.

At a young age, Myles was diagnosed with a rare blood disease that left him with a very little chance of survival, until an anonymous donor became available that would save Myles' life. Upon completing a blood transfusion, Myles repeatedly asked if he could meet the person that donated the blood to thank them. When the doctors said that just wasn't possible, Myles made a decision.

He decided to treat every person like they were the ones who donated the blood that saved his life.

And that's exactly what he did.

Myles tragically passed away on December 3rd, 2018 in a single-car accident. His family, friends, and entire community were devastated, but Myles' love could not be silenced.

#LLM (Love Like Myles) became the rallying cry of a community that knew the world would be such a better place if everyone simply Loved Like Myles.

December 3rd has officially been registered as National Love Like Myles today, and in light of that we are launching the #LLMChallenge.

It's simple. Write a note. Post a note. Tag a friend. Encourage someone, authentically, today. Treat them better. Love them differently. Encourage them in a new way.

Because that's exactly what Myles would do.
